Lerma, age 60, born in Portales, New Mexico, and resident of Albuquerque and Bernalillo, passed away Thursday, May 11th, 2017, with his family by his side.  John is survived by his loving wife, Rose; daughters, Laura Lopez and husband, Jesus, Stephanie Lerma; parents, Ray and Petra Lerma; sisters, Beatrice Lucero and husband Benny, Viola Chavez, Rose Sanchez, Frances Garcia, Josie Apodaca and husband, Steve, Diana Lucero and husband, George, Michelle Lerma and Sam; brothers, Johnny Lerma and wife, Henrietta, Danny Lerma and wife, Patricia; grandchildren, Jordan, Serena, Isiah, Diego, Xavier, Patrick, Rylee, Jesus Jr. and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Visitation and Memorial Service will be Thursday, May 25, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW; Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
