Mabel E. Baca, age 82, lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away Saturday, October 21, 2017 with her family by her side. Ms. Baca is survived by her children, Janet Parada, Carol Garcia, Randy Baca and wife, Christine and Rhonda Baca; companion, Piero Pieri; eleven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Helen Velarde, Melcor Chavez, Robert Chavez, and Mary Griego. Ms. Baca was preceded in death by her daughter, Betty Baca and her son, John Baca.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 26, 2017 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW, with a Funeral Service to be held at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be James Parada, Jeremy Navarro, Kurt Amlong, Mark Baca, Mark Garcia and Gabriel Mares.
