Willie Martinez

Willie Candido Martinez, 82, of Albuquerque, passed peacefully the morning of Monday, July 17th, 2017 in his home surrounded by his loved ones.  He was born December 31st, 1934 in Folsom, New Mexico.  His work ethic was evident from an early age, and worked right up to his passing. He built a life for his family through hard work, dedication and focus.  He served in our nations military and was a Contractor belonging to the Carpenters Union.  He was preceded in death by his parents Ezekiel Martinez and Natividad Archuleta and grandchildren Desiree and Michael Gene Mendoza.  He is survived by his wife Johnnie Martinez; children Christine, Dean, Kaye, Gina, Jacob, Leah, and Estevan; grandchildren Marvin and Ashley,  Rayven and DeanAnna, Danna, Dominic, Jacinta, and Justine, Alicia and Patrick, Nevaeh and Caiden, Isaac, Willie, Elena, Edwina, Ezekiel, and Noah; and 22 great grandchildren.  A Rosary will be held Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at 8am at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 9502 4th ST NW with the Mass and reception to follow.
