Grief Support Services

Gabaldon Mortuary has been a family-owned funeral home since 1948. Our long experience as licensed funeral directors allows us to help families through the grief process as we promote healing through education and assistance readjusting to life without a loved one.

The Funeral is the First Step

Meaningful funeral ceremonies offer closure, showing us that our loved one is gone and allowing friends and family to offer support. However, the funeral or memorial service is only the first step to healing. In the days, weeks and months after the funeral service, it’s important to lean on others for understanding and guidance.

After the Funeral

Because grief is such a personal process, many people seek a comfortable environment to discuss their loss with other people working through the grieving process. Many local and national support groups have formed, including:
