Brandon Scott Poland, age 30, departed from this earthly life and entered into eternity on Friday, August 24, 2018. Brandon was born in Phoenix, Arizona; son of Patrick and Starlene Poland. He was a 2006 graduate of Moriarty High School in Moriarty, New Mexico. As a boy, Brandon enjoyed taking trips to San Diego, Sea World, and the Sand Dunes with his grandmother, Lilaf. Fishing, camping, and bowling with his father and simply spending time with his girlfriend or family at home. Brandon lived in many places during his life; each filled with new people and new experiences. No matter where life took him, he made sure to live his life to the fullest and touched the lives of others. Everyone knew he had a deep love for animals; his dogs Jed and Snoop were, in many ways, his own children. Brandon was polite, professional, and intelligent. People often went to him for advice or answers. He was reserved and focused on succeeding, yet welcoming and witty. Brandon had a big, goofy grin that could make your darkest days brighter and a laugh which was contagious. Brandon was a man you just couldn’t help but to love...
Brandon was preceded in death by his great grandmother, Dorothy Reynolds and his grandmother, Lilaf Culbertson. He is survived by his parents, Patrick and Starlene Poland; siblings, Taylor, Alisha, and Christian Poland; niece Sophia Poland; grandfather, Leonard Culbertson; grandmother, Teri Poland; as well as his girlfriend Veronica Castillo and her daughter, Melody Castillo.
