Lorenzo Rael

Lorenzo Rael, age 79,  beloved husband of 54yrs, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many. On Sept 14, Lorenzo succumbed to a 6yr. battle with Leukemia and is now with his Heavenly Father. Lorenzo was born in Anton Chico, NM on October 19, 1937 to Reymundo Rael & Rufina Baros. He was a long-time resident of Albuquerque, faithfully served Holy Rosary catholic parish for 50+ years and retired from APS after 25 years service. Lorenzo is survived by his wife Mickie, children Danny Rael, Kathy Rael, Loretta and husband Michael Tafuro, 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, brothers Ramon & wife Enedina Rael, Willie Rael, Trancito & wife Helen Rael and many nieces and nephews. All services will be held at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church - 5415 Fortuna Rd. NW on Thursday Sept 21, 2017. Visitation will begin at 9:30am with rosary to be recited at 10:15am and funeral mass celebrated at 11am. Following mass, there will be a reception at the family home.
