Adrienne Pierre-Louis

Adrienne Pierre-Louis passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 18, 2025. She was born on January 5, 1931 in Cayes, Haiti, to Luc Gerlus and Laure-Ursule Perrier. She attended Soeurs du Sacre-Coeur and Externat la Providence, then transferred to Enseignment Rural to become a teacher. She married Adolphe Pierre-Louis on September 25, 1958. Her husband passed away on January 15, 1996.

Adrienne Pierre-Louis also known as “Man Ady” was an exemplary human being. She embodied the best qualities: unconditional love, strength of spirit, and an unending generosity that could be seen in her care for her family and countless others. It was in Port-au-Prince, Haiti that she began to build a life with her four children, Vincent Serge, Herve, Adolphe Jr. and Marie Ketteline Pierre-Louis. Man Ady was known as a mother-figure to many. She was a very caring woman, kind and passionate.

She worked many years until she retired as a teacher, then migrated to the United States in the 1990’s.

Adrienne Pierre-Louis was a devout catholic and a “Franciscan” who made an impact on many lives. She will be forever missed. She was passionate about sharing the love of our Lord Jesus Christ with others. She was an active member of the Saint Alexandre Parish in Port-au-Prince and a member of the Charismatic Prayer Group.

A faithful servant of God, Adrienne Pierre-Louis has passed into the arms of our Lord. Her physical life here on earth is over, but it is the beginning of an eternal and beautiful journey for her. Adrienne is survived by her four children: Vincent Serge Pierre-Louis, Herve Pierre-Louis and his spouse, Katia, Adolphe Pierre-Louis Jr. and his spouse, Gabrielle, Marie Ketteline Daniel and her husband, Louis Auguste Daniel. Her Grand Children: Neila Pierre-Louis, Gaetane Pierre-Louis, Marc Garvey Pierre-Louis, Lorie Pierre-Louis, Jean-Philippe Daniel and his wife Manika, Nathalie Daniel, Raphael Daniel, Deandra Pierre-Louis, Luc Andre Pierre-Louis. Her Great Grand Children: Imani Gurule, Emiliano Gurule, Aida Pierre-Louis.

Her departure comes as a great shock, and it is gravely felt by her entire family and many others who loved her deeply in her wide network of community.

A Visitation will be held Thursday, December 4, 2025 at 4:00 p.m.- 5:00 p.m. In The Gabaldon Memorial Chapel loacted at 1000 Old Coors Drive SW, Albuquerque, NM 87121. A Final Visitation will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025 at 7:45 a.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 8:15 a.m. and a Mass to follow at 9:00 a.m. all to be held at Our Lady of The Most Holy Rosary located at 5415 Fortuna Rd NW, Albuquerque, NM 87105. An Interment will follow services to Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery located at 7999 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109.
