Alphonsa Jones

Alphonsa "AL" Jones, age 86, born in Marvyn, Alabama and resident of Albuquerque, passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2019.  Mr. Jones is survived by his beloved wife, Oma June Jones; children, Leon Jones and wife, Roberta, Georgina Mayo, June Perkins Thomas and husband, William, Rebecca Starks, Alphonso Jones and wife, Lily, Olivia Jones, Hans Kevin Jones and wife, Jessica, Nancy Jones; sister, Rebecca Blair; twenty-five grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings.

A public viewing and visitation will be Tuesday, September 17, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW.

A final visitation will be Wednesday, September 25, 2019 from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church, 1509 Edith SE, with a Funeral Service to be held at 11:00 a.m.   A Committal service will follow services at 1:30 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
