Anthony Leroy Gomez

Anthony Leroy Gomez, age 69, a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on January 4, 2024. Anthony is survived by his daughter Antoinette Hernandez and boyfriend, Jerry Ortega; son, Mike Gomez; mother, Stella Gomez; grandchildren, Adrian Garcia Jr., Richard Garcia, Jacob Garcia, Elizabeth Garcia, Veronica Gomez, Savannah Gomez, and Anastasia Gomez; great-grandchildren, Jordan Candelaria, Elijah Candelaria, Joshua Garcia, Jerimiah Garcia, Adrianna Garcia; siblings, Nancy Garcia and husband, Anthony, Billy Gomez, Richard Gomez and wife, Rose, Merlinda Gallegos, Denise Perea, Judy Perea, Maybell Perea, and step sister, Wendy Thunderchief . He was preceded in death by his other beloved parents, Dr. Richard Dee Strickland and Elizabeth Strickland, grandparents, Delfino Medina, and Mary Chonita Medina; siblings, Florencio Gomez Jr., Luis Perea, and Charles Gomez. A Rosary for Mr. Gomez will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at 4:00pm with Deacon Dave Little presiding. A Funeral Service will follow at 4:30pm all to be held in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW.
