Atanacia E. Marquez (Adis), age 95, born and raised in Silver City, New Mexico and resident of Albuquerque, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 11, 2018. Atanacia was married to Ricardo F. Marquez in 1943 in Silver City and moved to Albuquerque in 1949. Mrs. Marquez is survived by her children, Richard H. Marquez and wife, Vickie, Dorothy M. Satriana and husband, Jack D.; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ricardo, grandson, Jackie Satriana Jr., parents, Julian and Atanacia Espinosa, three brothers and two sisters.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, January 16, 2018 from 9:45 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna Rd. NW. with a Rosary to be recited at 10:15a.m.; Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Stephen Marquez, Rickie Marquez, Gino Satriana, Gino Satriana Jr., Jackie Satriana III, Matthew Vigil and William Vigil. Honorary Pallbearers will be Adolpho Portillo, Genero Roybal, Robert Roybal, Ronnie Marquez and Jack Satriana.
