Avedon Montano, age 90, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on October 10, 2023. Mr. Montano is survived by his children, JR Montano, Patricia Cordova and husband, Steve, Marty Montano, Johnny Montano and wife, Berna; eleven grandchildren, and twenty-eight great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ramona Montano. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at 7:45 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church with a Rosary to be recited at 8:15 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow the services at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery 2957 Arenal Rd SW. Pallbearers will be Steve N. Cordova, Patrick Cordova, J.J. Montano, Dominic Montano, Mario Montano, and Vicente Montano.
