Avelino Sanchez
November 10, 1940 — September 26, 2019
Avelino Sanchez, age 78, resident of Albuquerque, passed away Thursday, September 26, 2019. Mr. Sanchez is survived by his wife, Linda Sanchez; Children, Shirley, Michael, Frances, Crystal, and Ralph; grandchildren, Dennis, Jazline, Jazmine, and Raymond Jr.; great-grandchild, Ray Romero; siblings, Lina, Miramon, Herman, Anita, Crispin, Billy, Ercelia, Della, Gilbert, Boleslo, Irene, and Merlinda; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Mr. Sanchez was preceded in death by his parents, Abelino and Felicita Sanchez; son, Avelino Sanchez III and grandson Frank Jr.
A visitation will be Tuesday, October 8, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. at St. Augustine Church, Tribal Road 35 Suite 71 Isleta, New Mexico, with a Rosary to be recited at 9:30 a.m.; Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Los Padillas Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Dennis Castillo, Michael Sanchez, Raymond Acuna, Julian Padilla, Jacob Sanchez, Andrew Montano.
