Carlota Leonarda Banks

Carlota Leonarda Banks, age 81, born in Veracruz, Veracruz, Mexico and a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on November 27, 2023. Mrs. Banks is survived by her son, Joseph Hyrum Banks and wife, Lucia; siblings, Magdalena Taylor and husband, Gerald, Gloria Pew and husband, Carl, Hazel Lara Leon; numerous nieces, and nephews; dear family friend, Maria Smith, and her church family. She was preceded in death by her husband of forty-six years, Ronald Keith Banks; Benigno Federico and Amanda Carlota Lara. Visitation will be at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 8130 Sage Rd SW on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at 12:30 p.m. with a Funeral Service to be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. Interment will follow the service at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery, 2957 Arenal Rd S.W.
