Cecelia Margaret Montero

Cecelia Margaret Montero, age 88, born in Monte Vista, Colorado and a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on August 31, 2026. Cecelia is survived by her children, Elizabeth Kahre, and husband, Darrell and Edward Padilla; two sisters, Grace Robledo and husband, Jesus, Nancy Elks and brother, Tobias Romero; grandchildren, Eric Gold and wife, Brandi, and Andrea Gold; great-grandchildren, Dexter Anthony Gold and Gavin Michael Gold; several nieces, nephews and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold, son, Henry Garcia; siblings, Mary Sanchez, and Elsie Baca and husband, Arthur Baca and brother in-law Robert Elks. Visitation will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, September 25, 2026 in The Gabaldon Memorial Chapel 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW with a Celebration of Life to follow at 12:00p.m.
