In Loving Memory of Christopher A. Lovato
January 22, 1990 – September 9, 2026
Age 36
Christopher A. Lovato, better known to those who loved him simply as Chris, left this world on September 9, 2026, at the age of 36.
Born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on January 22, 1990, Chris was one of a kind. He was a jokester, a loyal friend, a loving family member, a vigilante at heart, and a man who could somehow turn just about any ordinary moment into a story people would be laughing about for years. Chris had a big heart and an even bigger personality. He was loyal to his family and friends and loved them fiercely. He was the kind of person who would show up when someone needed him. If you called Chris for help, he was there—usually enthusiastically, sometimes before you even finished explaining the problem. And speaking of problems…Chris believed he could fix anything. Broken car? He could fix it. Broken appliance? He could fix it. Something nobody else could figure out? Chris accepted the challenge. Whether he actually knew how to fix it was another question. He was notorious for borrowing people’s tools, attempting to fix something with them, and then returning those same tools in a condition that could only be described as “well…they were working when I borrowed them.” But Chris never backed down from a challenge. He was overly enthusiastic, determined, and absolutely convinced that if he couldn’t fix it, nobody could. And through it all, Chris would proudly remind everyone that he was “BLESSED.”
Chris leaves behind more than memories—he leaves behind stories. Stories that will be told at family gatherings with laughter, shaking heads, and someone eventually saying, “Yep. That was Chris.”
He was loud.
