Clemmie Saiz Lopez

Clemmie Saiz Lopez, 101, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2026, surrounded by family.
Clemmie was born on March 31, 1925, in Magdalena, New Mexico, to her parents, Maximiano and Teresita Serna Saiz. She dedicated her life to her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of over 40 years, Ernest Lopez; her daughters, Teresa Valles; Judy Valles; and her parents.
Clemmie is survived by her sister, Lucy Trujillo; her sons, Daniel Valles, Michael (Marty) Valles, and Jerry Bezie; along with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Clemmie will be remembered for her unwavering faith in God, her strength, warmth, and the deep love she shared with everyone around her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
We would like to express a heartfelt thank you to Kandi, Angelique, Sheri, Meredyth, Jordan, and Interim Home Health, hospice staff for the love, care and support they gave to her and our family.

A Visitation for Clemmie will be held Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at 11:30 a.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 12:00 p.m. and a Memorial Service to follow at 12:30 p.m. all to be held in The Gabaldon Memorial Chapel located at 1000 Old Coors Drive SW, Albuquerque, NM 87121. The burial and the reception will take place following the burial at Mount Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith Blvd N.E., and the reception will be at the Moose Lodge at 2121 Edith N.E. from 2:30-6:00.
