Cosme Pohl

Cosme Pohl, age 94, born in Chilili, New Mexico and a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on July 1, 2026. Cosme is survived by his sons, Rick Pohl and wife, Lori, Jason Pohl; son in-law, David Zamora; grandchildren, Stephanie, Roman, Douglas Pohl, Bobby Pohl, and Beverly Pohl; step-grandson, Carlo Pino; great-grandchildren, Anna, Leah, and Emerson; siblings, MaryAnn Padilla, Herman Pohl and wife, Peggy, Loretta Garcia and husband, Ted, Leon Pohl and wife Olivia, and Corrine Garcia; several nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends. Cosme was preceded in death by his wife, Myrna; daughter, Beverly Pohl Zamora; siblings, Julian Pohl, Alice Garcia, Rose Garcia; and parents, Damacio and Julia Pohl. Cosme served his country proudly in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. Visitation will be held at Our Lady of the most Holy Rosary Catholic Church 5415 Fortuna Rd. SW on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at 9:45 a.m. with a Rosary to be recited by Pat Muniz Roberts at 10:15 a.m., Liturgy Service will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with burial follow the Mass with Military honors  at Mt. Calvary Cemetery 1900 Edith Blvd. N.E. where Cosme will be laid to rest with his wife, Myrna. Pallbearers will be, Roman Pohl, David Zamora, Mike Otero, Rudy Pohl, Sam Flores, and Chris Garcia.
