Daniel Saavedra

Daniel Elias Saavedra age 77, a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on May 3, 2025. Daniel is survived by his wife of sixty-four years, Stella Marie Saavedra; children, Eric Saavedra and wife, Lisa, and Jodie Saavedra; grandchildren, Daniel Saavedra, Eric Saavedra Jr., Chantelle Trujillo, Justus Lucero, Genna Saavedra; great-grandchildren, Ella, Renesmee, and Anthony. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jose Thomas and Mariano Saavedra. Daniel served his country proudly in the United States Army and his community as a firefighter and paramedic. A Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at 8:00 a.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 8:30 a.m. a Mass will follow at 9:00 a.m. all to be held at Holy Family Catholic Church located at 562 Atrisco Dr SW, Albuquerque, NM 87105. A Burial will take place Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at 12:30 p.m. with Military Honors at The Santa Fe National Cemetery located at 501 N Guadalupe St, Santa Fe, NM 87501.
