Darren Smith

Darren E. Smith, age 51, born in San Diego, California a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2018. Mr. Smith is survived by his fiancée, Adel Davis; sons, Adrian Davis and significant other, Jennah Payne, Geoffrey Smith and wife, Katie Smith, Brandon Smith, Darren Smith Jr.; grandchildren, Jesse N. Smith, Chloe N. Smith (on the way!); step-grandchildren, Xavier and Ezekiel Cordova; siblings, Brenda and husband, Matt Covella, Larry White, Jeff White and wife, Sandy Dunham, Sheryl and husband, Bruce Chriestenson, Glenda Nichols and husband, John; and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Smith was preceded in death by Dorothy Maxine Hazelrigg, Mickey (nephew), Jeff Nichols, and Brandi Nichols. Darren was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He always had a joke for every situation. We’ve had a lot of up’s and down’s, sometimes more up’s then down’s but no matter the situation he always made sure the kids and I were taken care of. He’s always been there for us no matter what. A visitation will be held Wednesday, March 21, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Drive S.W.
