David was a man who lived life fully and loved deeply. Born in April 1979, he was taken from us far too soon in a tragic accident, leaving behind a void in the hearts of all who knew him.
At the center of David's world was his family. Whether gathered around the table for one of his legendary home-cooked meals, exploring the outdoors together, or simply sharing a good laugh, he made every moment count. He had a gift for making people smile and a big kid's spirit that was absolutely contagious.
David found joy in the simple, meaningful things — the quiet patience of fishing, the satisfaction of a thriving garden, and the craftsmanship of whittling a piece of wood into something beautiful. He was a man who appreciated history, loved movies and never met a puzzle he didn't want to solve. He was born with tenacious and fearless energy that was spent skateboarding. He rode with abandon - a reminder that at heart, he held fast in innocent and fun spirit of life.
A skilled plumber by trade, David took the same care and dedication in his work that he brought to everything in life. He loved to hunt, spend time in nature, and travel — with Pagosa Springs holding a special place in his heart as a place of peace and beauty. His beloved family dogs were always close by his side.
David didn't just live life — he made it richer for everyone around him. He is deeply missed, irreplaceable, and forever loved.
