Donald Christopher Benavidez, age 51, a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico passed away on March 10, 2024. Donald is survived by his wife of seventeen years, Valerie Benavidez; children, Xavier Montoya, and Vanessa Benavidez; brother, Ronald L. Benavidez; Godchildren, Manuel Anaya Jr., Santos Torres, Alexia Torres, Fabian Torres, Nevay Torres, Diego Montoya; nieces and nephews, Jacob Tarin-Madrid, Ashton Tarin, Audriana Roybal and Neomiah Roybal, Henry Anaya Jr., Aurelia Goodman, Layla Goodman. He was preceded in death by his mother, Georgia Benavidez. A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at 7:00pm. A Mass will take place on Friday, March 22, 2024 at 10:00am all to be held at Catholic Church of the Ascension, located at 2150 Raymac Rd SW, Albuquerque, NM 87105. Burial of the cremains will follow the Mass at Pajarito Cemetery.
