Donald Sandoval

Donald "Donny" Sandoval, age 70, a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on May 12, 2025. Donald is survived by his siblings, Dr. Cecil Sandoval and wife, Anabell, George Sandoval and wife, Jane, Robert Sandoval and wife, Jackie, Vera Sandoval, Wilma Griego, Judy Moseley, Dr. Joseph Sandoval, Barbara Temer and husband, George, several nieces, nephews and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, mother, Della Sandoval, father, Cilio Sandoval, and brother, David Sandoval. Donald earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of New Mexico and devoted his life to educating young minds in New Mexico and Colorado. Donald was a life-long fan of both the Miami Dolphins Football team and the Boston Celtics Basketball team. A Visitaion will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 10:00 a.m. with a Funeral Service to follow at 10:30 a.m. all to take place in The Gabaldon Memorial Chapel located at 1000 Old Coors Drive SW, Albuquerque, NM 87121. A Burial will follow the services to Mount Calvary Cemetery located at 1900 Edith Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87102.
