Dorella "Dorie " Frances Grabowski

Dorella "Dorie" Frances Grabowski, who was born and lived in Albuquerque, New Mexico all her life, passed away on November 20, 2025. She is survived by her husband of thirty-nine years, Gale Grabowski; children, Nathan Grabowski, Samantha Grabowski; siblings, Rey Sandoval, Lucia Turner, Al Sandoval and wife, Lorraine; sibling in-laws, Gary Grabowski and wife, Debbie, Charmaine Grabowski, Greg Grabowski and wife, Adrienne; several nieces, nephews and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, Antonio "Tony" and Dora Sandoval; parent in-laws, Gus and Ruth Grabowski; beloved aunt, Mercedes “Yelles” Baca; sister, Priscilla Chavez, sister-in-law Gerry Sandoval; nephews, George Chavez, and Paul Tafoya; stepmother in-law, Trudi Grabowski.

Dorella was a graduate of Rio Grande High School. Upon graduation from high school Dorie started her 50 year career with University of New Mexico Health Sciences. Dorella had an admirable career working with the finance, legal, and privacy staffs. Dorella retired as the Patient Advocate at Sandoval Regional Medical Center.

Visitation will be held at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church 5712 Paradise Blvd. NW. on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. with a Rosary to  be recited at 9:30 a.m.  Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated a 10:15 a.m. Interment will take place at 2:00 p.m. at Vista Verde Memorial Cemetery 4310 Sara Rd. in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. Honorary Pallbearers will be, Diane Ontiveros. Tammy deQuack, Sherry Johnson, Cristina Beato, Barb Sundholm, Geraldine Vallejos, Jamie Silva Steele, Sophia Collaros, Phyllis Herbertson, Jan Anderson-McCabe, and Lil Andrews.
