Dorothy Martinez

Dorothy (Trujillo) Martinez, age 79, born in Canoncito, New Mexico and a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on March 22, 2021. Mrs. Martinez is survived by her husband of sixty-three years, Charlie Martinez; daughter, Debbie Gurule; son, Chuck Martinez and wife, Carol; two sisters, Mary Abeyta and and Wilma Elycio and husband, Juan; three brothers, Joe Trujillo, Leo Trujillo and wife, Lorraine, Jerry Trujillo and wife, Esther; seven grandchildren, Mike and wife, Antoinette, Isaac, Matthew, Tiffanie, Kimberly, Charlie lll and Gary; ten great-grandchildren, Julian, Jena, Isis, Alana, Isabella, Josiah, Gary, Gabriella, Margarita, Marisol; many other extended grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Martinez was preceded in death by her parents, Simplicio and Dulcinea Trujillo; son, Patrick and in-laws, Estella Martinez and Cleofes Martinez. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 1, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in The Gabaldon Memorial Chapel 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW with a Rosary to be recited at 10:30 a.m. and Funeral Service following at 11:00 a.m. Deacon Michael Wesley presiding. Interment will take place after the service at Mt. Calvary Cemetery 1900 Edith Blvd NE. Pallbearers will be Mike Gurule, Isaac Gurule, Matthew Gurule, Charlie Martinez lll, Julian Gurule, Gary Martinez. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kimberly Martinez and Tiffanie Gurule.
