ANDRADE, EDWARD J., age 81, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, went home in the arms of his mother, Our Lady of Guadalupe, to be present with our Lord on Wednesday, February 19, 2014. Mr. Andrade is survived by his beloved wife of sixty-one years, Rosie; children, Mario Andrade, Roseann Fitzpatrick and husband, Randy, Steve Andrade and fiancee, Stephanie Apodaca, Lisa Bousek and husband, Matt, and Bernadette Marquez and fiance, Joseph Barela; sisters, Lucy and husband Frank, Loretta, Jennie and husband, Richard, Josephine, Rosario, and Lourdes; brothers, Sonny and wife, Anita, and Bobby and wife, Veronica, Joseph, and George; grandchildren, Roman, Emilio, Jarene, Frances, Brianna, Aveann, E.J., Ignacio, Angelique, Jovonne, Santiago, Faith, Nathan, Jose, and Donovan; six great-grandchildren; brothers in law and sisters in law, Frank and Margie, Gene and Gloria, George and Pam, Gilferd and Lucy, Lawrence and Seda, Todd and Dellie, and Anthony; and many other extended family members. Mr. Andrade was a member of the Catholic Church, a faithful servant of the Lord, a Eucharistic Minister for over thirty years, worked Cursillos and Encuentro, Marriage Enrichment and Encounters. Mr. Andrade retired from G.E. after thirty-one years and was a proud member of I. A. M. Machinist Union, Local 794. Visitation will be Monday, February 24, 2014 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna NW from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 10:00 a.m. by his grandchildren; Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Roman Andrade, Emilio Andrade, E.J. Marquez, Ignacio Marquez, Brianna Bousek and Aveann Bousek.
