Elsie Goff

 With much love and deep sorrow we mourn the passing of a beloved sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother Elsie Goff, who passed away on April 3rd, 2024. 

     Born in Ocate, New Mexico to Jose and Eufrosina Armijo. After graduating from Springer High School she went on to get her education degree from Highlands University and a Masters from the University of El Paso in Texas (UTEP). Elsie went on to have a prestigious career as a teacher for 29 years where she taught for El Paso public schools and for Albuquerque Public Schools at Atrisco Elementary. 

     Elsie was preceded in death by one sister Cecelia Armijo, and three brothers Carlos, Joe and Eddie Armijo, and is survived by sister Josie and her husband Francis Salazar, two sons, Scott and wife Joy, and Darrell Goff, grandchildren, Dr. Donavan Goff, Sarah Goff, Bethany and husband Joshua Salls, Emily Figueroa, Michael and wife Kes Goff, and two great grandchildren, Charlie Munoz, and Nova Goff, niece Pollyanna and husband Will Cabaniss and their children Brandon and Jack. 

     Visitation will be at Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW on Monday April 15, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.  Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 9:00am at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco Dr. SW on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, with the burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 924 Menaul Blvd NE.
