Erek Jaramillo

Erek Jaramillo, 44, left this world peacefully on September 8th, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Erek Jaramillo was born, in Flint, Michigan, to Eddie and Anna Jaramillo. He grew up in Clovis, New Mexico, and eventually moved to Albuquerque. There, he met the love of his life, Megan where they devoted twenty-two years to each other and together, they raised their three beautiful children: Cambria Jaramillo (20), Erek Jr. (12), and Uriah Jaramillo (9). A most devoted father, always there to offer guidance, love, and a contagious laugh. He cherished and loved his children more than life itself, as he would do anything for his family. He developed a strong work ethic and pursued a career in retail sales for Pavestone, to which he dedicated himself for seventeen years and was a pillar of strength. Erek had many passions in life, including watching sports, refereeing basketball, camping, and always willing to lend a helping hand to others. He was known for his notable personality, his contagious smile, and his sense of humor that would light up any room. He is survived by his loving wife, Megan; children, Cambria, Erek Jr., and Uriah; parents, Eddie and Anna Jaramillo; siblings Sandra Jaramillo, Della Dodge, and Juliana Jaramillo; as well as loving nieces, a nephew, cousins, and many friends and extended family members who will all miss him dearly. Erek is preceded in death by his grandpa, Julian Rubio. Services for Erek will be held at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church, 8301 Camino San Martin Rd SW. Date and time of the services are pending.
