Ermelina Ortega

Ermelina (Chavez) Ortega age 90, born in Los Chavez, New Mexico and a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on December 31, 2020. Mrs. Ortega is survived by her husband of sixty-seven years, Alejo Ortega; children, Alex Ortega Jr. and wife, Andree, Vergie Vigil, Ray Ortega and wife, Liz, Marlyne Monroy, Steve Ortega and wife, Pam; grandchildren, Adam Ortega and wife, Melinda, Mallory Jenkins and husband, Brian, Eric Ortega, Vanessa Vigil and husband, Andre, Bubba Vigil and companion, Krista, Angelique Ortega, Andrew Ortega; great-grandchildren, Ashton Ortega, Austin Ortega, Grayson Jenkins, Sofia Vigil; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Ortega was preceded in death by her parents, Saturnino Chavez Sr. and Loretta Chavez; siblings Saturnino Chavez Jr., Pablita Benavidez, Agapita Zamora-Frazee, Lita Gabaldon, Mary Barreras. The services for Mrs. Ortega will be January 13, 2021 at 3:00pm at Gabaldon Memorial Chapel. Mass will be held Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Holy Family Catholic Church at 9:00am, and a Burial to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
