Esquipula "Skip" Vigil Jr.

Esquipula “Skip” Vigil, age 76, and a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on October 5, 2026. Skip is survived by his wife of twenty-two years, Dawn; children, Sergio Vigil and wife, Martha, Cristina Neufeld and husband; grandchildren, Dacio, Josiah and Noah; siblings, Delia Addy and Anastacio Vigil; several nieces, nephews, and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents Esquipula Sr. and Faustina Vigil, and sister, Julia. Services for Mr. Vigil will be held in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW on Thursday, October 15, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. with interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Cemetery 924 Menaul Blvd NE. Pallbearers will be Sergio Vigil, Ray Flores, Pace Vandevender, Richard Funaro, Daniel Funaro, and Jacob Funaro.
