Evangelina Rodriguez

Evangelina Romero Rodriguez, age 92, born in Hanover, New Mexico and a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on July 18, 2026. Evangelina is survived by her husband of sixty-two years, Henry Rodriguez; sons, Roberto Rodriguez, Ricardo Rodriguez and wife René Rodriguez; grandchildren, Michael Rodriguez, Kevin Darrell, wife Nicole Darrell and their children Alexandra and Isaiah; great-grandchildren Akai Rodriguez, Rylee Darrell and Atticus Darrell; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Elvira Valencia, Margaret Sifuentes, Lilia Ramirez, Annie Salaiz, Leanor Cisneros, and Jose Savino Romero. A Visitation will be held on Friday, July 31, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 10:30 a.m. and a Mass to follow at 11:00 a.m. all to take place at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church 811 Guaymas Place NE. A Burial will follow services to Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery located at 7999 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109. Reception will folllow at 2:00 p.m. to Queen of Heaven Church located at 5300 Claremont Ave NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110. Pallbearers will be Michael Rodriguez, Hector Ramirez, Larry Sifuentes, Randy Sifuentes, Ryan Schnalzer, and Krystopher Czyzewski.
