Filiberto Baca

Filiberto (Bert) Baca, age 82, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on April 17, 2022. Mr. Baca is survived by his wife of sixty-two years, Lupe Candelaria Baca; daughters, Carol Baca-Aragon and husband, Andy, Dorothy Gutierrez and husband, Donald; sister, Lina Garcia, and husband, Tranquilino (Kilo); brothers, Louie Baca and wife, Delfinia, and Rudy Baca; four grandchildren, Laura Baca-Aragon, Iris Gutierrez, Amaris Gutierrez, Adrian Aragon; one great- granddaughter on the way; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mr. Baca was preceded in death by his son Henry (Hank) Baca, and parents, Joe R., and Andrea Baca. A visitation will be held on Monday, April 25, 2022, at Holy Family Catholic Church 562 Atrisco Dr. SW with a Rosary to be recited by Teresa Garcia at 8:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Patrick at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow services at Mt. Calvary Cemetery 1900 Edith Blvd NE. Pallbearers will be Adrian Aragon, Andy Aragon, Carol Baca-Aragon, Joe Baca, Ray Solis, Iris Gutierrez, and John Paul Garcia.
