Flora Otero, formerly Cordova, age 89, born October 19,1934 in Los Duranes, New Mexico She was a resident of Los Lunas for sixty-eight years. She passed away on May 11, 2024. Flora was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-three years, Albert Otero; her parents, Eulalio and Juanita Cordova; siblings, brother, Tobias Cordova; sisters, Mary Garcia, Helen Chavez, Doloras Montoya, Josie King, Candelaria Chavez, and Frances Jimenez. She was one of ten children. She is survived by her daughter, Carmen Daniels and husband, Randall; sons, Daniel, Patrick and wife, Esther, Dominic and wife, Marie; grandchildren, Jenifer Daniels- Knuuti and husband, Robert, Jarod Daniels; step-grandchildren, Fabian, Leon, Tiffany, Adrian; step-great-grandchildren, Isaiah, Eli, Mia, Maxx, Melanie and Shaun; sister, Lucy Diaz; brother, Nestor Cordova and wife, Doris; sister in-law, Susie Otero; many nieces and nephews. She loved playing bingo at the casino and senior center in Los Lunas. Visitation will be held at San Clemente Catholic Church 244 Luna Ave in Los Lunas, New Mexico on Monday, May 20, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 10:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Father Marshall presiding. Interment will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at 10:00a.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery 501 N. Guadalupe St. where Flora will be laid to rest with her husband, Albert. The family would like to thank the staff and residents of Carefree Living and Kaseman-Presbyterian Inpatient Hospice for the loving care she received. In lieu of flowers the family requests you make a donation to the San Clemente Catholic Church building fund.
