Florence Bernal Parra

Florence Bernal Parra, age 94, born at Taos Pueblo, New Mexico and a longtime resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on March 5, 2026. Florence is survived by her children, daughter Melissa Parra Wilcox and husband, Michael and son, Matthias J. Parra; grandchildren, Jose, Briana Christina and husband, Fernando, Jedidiah “Jedi” and partner, Ashley and Dante; great grandchildren, Mia, Fernando, Guillermo, and Emilliano; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Parra and great-granddaughter, Janiece Fernandez. Services will be held at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church 5415 Fortuna Rd. NW with burial to follow services at Mt. Calvary Cemetery 1900 Edith Blvd NE. Service date and times are pending.
