Florencio O. Gonzales, age 90, born in Chacon, NM and a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Friday, May 15, 2015. Mr. Gonzales is survived by his children, Rudy Gonzales, Diane Blanco, Lilly Kutcscher and husband, Richard, Adelina Vigil, and John Vigil; three sisters, Dolores Garcia, Arcie Jewel and husband Richard, and Gloria Jewel; brother, Robert Gonzales and wife, Lina; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren, and two on the way; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Gonzales was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie; and son, Michael. Mr. Gonzales was a member of the Catholic Church, and a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving during WWII. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 20, 2015 in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Final visitation will be Thursday, May 21, 2015 from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna NW with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment will be Friday, May 22, 2015 at Fairview Cemetery at 2:30 p.m.
