GODINEZ, FRANCES C., age 90, a residence of Albuquerque, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2014 at home with her family at her side. Mrs. Godinez is survived by her beloved husband of fifty-eight years, Frank; children, Diana Rubi, Dennis R. Medina and wife, Margaret, Jeanne Duran, Laurie Weinheimer and husband, Clyde, Connie Alire and husband, Demetrio; sister, Jennie Sandoval; eleven grandchildren; twenty three great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; niece, Myrna Pohl and husband, Cosme; many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Godinez was a member of the Catholic Church and she enjoyed playing Bingo at the Los Volcanes Senior Center. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 12, 2014 in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.by Herman Flores. Final visitation will be Thursday, March 13, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at Santuario de San Martin de Porras Catholic Church, 8321 Camino San Martin SW with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Demetrio Alire Sr., Demetrio Alire Jr., John Candelaria, Steve Martinez, Tommy Cerecedes, and Christopher Duran. Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Armijo and Dennis F. Medina.
