Frederick Anthony "Nego" Contreras Sr.

Frederick Anthony “Nego” Contreras Sr., age 68, a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on June 4, 2025. “Nego” is survived by his loving children, Desiree Contreras, Denise Contreras, and Frederick Contreras Jr.; grandchildren, Lourdes Contreras and husband, Jonathan Sanchez, Trinity Garcia and husband, Iven Miller, Alyssa Contreras and great- grandson, Messiah Miller; mother of his children, Georgia Garcia; sister, Linda Metzger and husband, Richard; brother, Sam Contreras; nephews, Jude Metzger and Angelo Metzger; several extended family members. He was preceded in death by his Mother Esher Garcia. Mr. Contreras served his country proudly in the United States Army and will be buried with military honors at the Santa Fe National Cemetery 501 N. Guadalupe St. in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Private services for Mr. Contreras are pending.
