Frederico “Freddie” Segura, age 77, born in Tucumcari, New Mexico and a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on May 22, 2025. Freddie is survived by his wife of fifty-nine years, Viola; children, daughter, Leonette Archuleta and husband, Mike, and daughter, Geraldine Segura; grandchildren, Takisha Archuleta, Candice Archuleta and husband, Jesse, Christopher Archuleta and wife, Angel, Frederico “J.J.” Segura, and Angel Salas; great-grandchildren, Santiago, Manny, J’Lynn, Izaiah, Mikael, J’Lyse, Jayden, Jacob, CJ, Ariah, Noah, Mariah and Elijah; four siblings; several nieces, nephews and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jeanette Barela, parents, Bonifacio and Carmen Segura, sister, Betty and brother Jerry Segura. Freddie served his country honorably in the United States Navy. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2, 2025, in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW at 6:30 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00.pm. Final visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church 5415 Fortuna Rd NW with a Liturgy Service to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow the services at the Santa Fe National Cemetery 501 N. Guadalupe St. in Santa Fe, New Mexico where Freddie will be laid to rest with Military Honors. Pallbearers will be, Christopher Archuleta, Santiago Archuleta, J.J. Segura, Manny Sedillo, CJ Archuleta, and Mikael Gomez. Honorary Pallbearers will be Izaiah, Elijah, Noah, Jacob, and Jayden.
