George Baca

George B. Baca, age 91, born in La Joya, New Mexico, a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2017.  Mr. Baca is survived by his wife of 71 years, Emma Baca; children, Tom Sarate and wife, Sylvia, Lori Valdez and husband, Lawrence, Roland Baca and wife, Sonia; sister, Alma Sanchez; brother, Rudy Baca; Seven grandchildren, Renay, Andrew, Mark, Marlene, Taylor, Hudson, DeLeigh; six great-grandchildren, Amber, Aaron, Andrea, Aidan, Zane, and Xander; one great-great grandson, Elliott. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Jessica Sanchez and Bertha Hinojosa at Presbyterian Hospice. Visitation will be Monday, December 4, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at El Buen Samaritano United Methodist Church 700 Granite NW (@ 7th street). A memorial service will follow at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Francisco Escalera officiating.   Interment to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Honorary Pallbearers will be grandsons, Andrew, Mark, Taylor, and Hudson.
