George Griego

George Giles Griego, age 69, a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away April 12, 2022. Mr. Griego is survived by his children, Dionne Griego, and Daniel Griego and wife Casandra; Six grandchildren, Desiree Santillanes and husband Ryan Santillanes, Jacqueline Chavez and boyfriend Josh Chacon, Isabella Chavez, Timothy Salazar, Alyssa Salazar and Fiancé Alejandra Angulo, and Gabriel Salazar; Three great-grandchildren, Reese and Riley Santillanes, and Jonah Salazar ; along with many more family member and friends. Mr. Griego is preceded in death by his wife Shirley Griego; parents, Gilbert and Mary Griego; and brother Gilbert Griego Jr. A Public Visitation will take place Thursday, April 21, 2022, at 5:30, with a Rosary to follow at 6:00pm all to be held in The Gabaldon Memorial Chapel located at 1000 Old Coors Drive SW 87121. A Funeral Service for Mr. & Mrs. Griego will be Thursday, May 26, 2022 at 11:00am at Calvary Church located at 4001 Osuna Rd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109, with a Burial to follow to Mount Calvary Cemetery.
