Gerald Garcia, beloved father, son, brother, uncle, cousin went home to our Lord on July 13, 2021, at the age of 58. Gerald was deeply loved by his family and known for his wit, humor and big heart. He was always the life of any gathering and a great dancer. Gerald was a cowboy at heart and his family loved to hear him sing country music. Gerald was also a passionate sports fan. He loved the Minnesota Vikings, New Mexico Lobos, Los Angeles Lakers and Minnesota Twins. Gerald’s passing is a great loss to our family, and he will be greatly missed. Gerald is survived by his son, Dylan Garcia; father, Larry Garcia; siblings, Deborah Lucas, Darlene Taliaferro, James Garcia, Andrew Garcia; nieces and nephews, Falisha Lucas, Natasha Lucas, Christina Randolph, Ashley Arias, Angelina Taliaferro, Drew Garcia, Rhiannon Garcia, Cristian Randolph, Lily Randolph, Zabri Jaynes; many cousins and friends. Gerald was preceded in death by his mother, Elsie Garcia. A Visitation for Mr. Garcia will take place on July 25,2021 at 6:00pm in The Gabaldon Memorial Chapel located at 1000 Old Coors Drive SW 87121, and a Rosary to be recited at 7:00pm. A Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church on July 26, 2021 at 10:00am with a burial to follow to Mount Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be James Garcia, Andrew Garcia, Dylan Garcia, Tommy Dean Garcia, Steve Soto, Danny Soto. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ken Mark Chavez, Isaac Candelaria, Chris Soto.
