Gerardo Castillo

Gerardo “Cas” Castillo, age 90, born in Douglas, Arizona and a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on August 14, 2021. Mr. Castillo is survived by his wife of sixty-five years, Rosalia (Jaramillo) Castillo; children, Dorothy Madrid, Catherine Castillo; grandchildren, Yvette Madrid, Jenee Castillo, Breanne Castillo; great-grandchildren Josiah Gurule, Analiah Castillo, Jacob Gurule; brother, Richard Castillo; many nieces, nephews and extended family members. Mr. Castillo was preceded in death by his son, John Castillo. Mr. Castillo proudly served his country and retired from the United States Air Force. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 27, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW. Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow with military honors for Mr. Castillo at Mt. Calvary Cemetery 1900 Edith Blvd. NE. Pallbearers will be Ray Gurule, Reyes Flores, Siah Gurule, Lawrence Prieto, Rom Barnes, Yvette Madrid. Honorary Pallbearers will be, Howie Gallegos, Steven Jaramillo, Larry Luchinni.
