Gilbert Jose Archunde

Gilbert Jose Archunde, age 79, born in Gallup, New Mexico and a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on June 23, 2025. Gilbert is survived by his children, Naomi Archunde, Valerie Archunde-Barrett and husband, Kurt, Felicia Archunde and husband, Jeremy, Dominic Archunde and wife, Stacia; grandchildren, Amanda, Matthew, Nicholas, Rebecca, Hannah, Cameron, and Olivia; great-grandchildren, Henry and Evelyn; siblings, Rose Gallegos, Renay Gallegos, and Josie Marquez; stepsister, Beatrice; several nieces, nephews, and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, Secundino and Dominica Archunde; brother, Stanley Archunde, and sister, Cora Santistevan. A Visitation for Mr. Archunde will take place on Friday, July 11, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. with a Celebration of Life to follow at 11:00 a.m. all to be held in The Gabaldon Memorial Chapel located at 1000 Old Coors Drive SW, Albuquerque, NM 87121.
