Grabielita Saavedra

Grabielita “Gabie” Saavedra, age 80, born in La Madera, New Mexico and a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on May 15, 2024. Mrs. Saavedra is survived by her daughter, Angela Cochran and husband, Paul; son in-law, Pete Apodaca; grandchildren, Gabriel Apodaca and wife, Savannah, Ashley Apodaca Sparks and husband, Jonah, Aliyah Apodaca, Nicholas Cochran, Nathan Cochran, Sandra Cochran; great-grandchild, Walker Apodaca; brother in-law Danny Saavedra and wife, Stella; several nieces, nephews, and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Saavedra and daughter, Sandra Apodaca. Visitation will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church 562 Atrisco Dr. SW on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. also at Holy Family Church and interment will follow the services at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Pete Apodaca, Daniel Saavedra, Jonah Sparks, Nicholas Cochran, Nathan Cochran, and Gabriel Apodaca.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Justus Lucero and Louie Cordova.
