Greg Chavez
January 17, 1931 — December 18, 2017
Greg P. Chavez, age 86, born in Albuquerque, New Mexico and resident of Bay Point, California, passed away Monday, December 18, 2017. Mr. Chavez is survived by his son, Ron Chavez; sister, Miquela Turrietta; brother, Ceasario Otero; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Chavez was preceded in death by his sister, Eloisa Barboa. The family would like to thank Luz Lemons for her dedication and love in caring for their loved one. A visitation will be held Thursday, December 28, 2017 from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church, 8321 Camino San Martin SW with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m.; Interment to follow mass at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Turrietta, Anna Turrietta, Acasio Turrietta, Ceasario Otero, Florencio Chavez, Florencio Chavez Jr. and honorary pallbearer, Tony Charlie Barboa.
