Helen Elena Maria Lopez, age 84, a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed January 20, 2026. Helen is survived by her son, Carlos Lopez; grandchildren, Felicia Marisol Lopez, Adam Lopez, Felix, Jerome, Jennifer; two great-grandchildren, Edward and Byron; siblings, Mike Fernandez, and Cuca Morris; daughter in-law, Sarah Salazar; sister in-laws, Marie Fernandez, Beni Ramsey and husband, Jim, Kika Vargas and husband, Lencho, and Lillie Lopez. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymundo Lopez; parents, Miguel and Maria Fernandez; son, Eduardo Lopez; brothers and sisters, Antonio and wife, Patricia Fernandez, Alice and husband, Danny Garcia, Dolores and husband, Rolf Lyons, Rebecca Rubio, Margaret Benavidez, Mercedes Wells, Raul and wife, Theresa Fernandez, Arturo and wife, Jackie Fernandez, Juan Ramon Fernandez and Robert Fernandez. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 9, 2026 at St Joseph on the Rio Grande Catholic Church 5901 St Josephs Dr. NW at 8:00 a.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 8:15a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00a.m. and burial will follow the services at Mt. Calvary Cemetery 1900 Edith Blvd NE.
