Henry Angelo Geoffrion, a devoted servant of God, loving husband, father, son, grandfather, and friend, passed from this life into the arms of our Lord on January 18, 2026. He was born in Las Vegas, New Mexico, on September 3, 1960, to Frances P. and Henry E. Geoffrion.
Henry was preceded in death by his father, Henry E. Geoffrion, and his beloved son-in-law, Fidel Silas Ayon. He is survived by his devoted wife, Victoria Geoffrion; his mother, Frances Geoffrion; his children, Jessica Geoffrion Ayon, Henry A. Geoffrion (wife Sarah-Jean), Jennifer Aragon (husband Jason), and Will Hood. He is also survived by his sisters, Roxanne Maestas (husband Henry) and Michelle Atencio (husband Lenny Maestas); as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, godchildren, and many dear friends who were blessed by his presence.
From a young age, Henry’s heart belonged to Jesus. His journey of faith began in second grade as an altar server and continued throughout his life as a lector and eucharistic minister. His proudest accomplishments were those in service to the Lord. For over 25 years, Henry shared his faith as a confirmation teacher at Santuario de San Martin de Porres Church in Albuquerque, inspiring generations of families in their walk with Christ.
Henry was a 4th Degree Sir Knight with the Knights of Columbus, one of four brothers who co-founded Council 9105 at San Martin de Porres. His dedication and leadership were recognized when he was named Knight of the Year in 2009. He also served faithfully as Mayordomo for the San Martin Fiestas in 2002–2003 and was honored as Youth Leader of the Year by the Archdiocese of Santa Fe in 2006.
A man of song and spirit, Henry led the 8:00 a.m. Sunday Choir, filling the church with his strong voice and love for praise. His faith guided every step of his life — he prayed the Divine Mercy and the Rosary each day and faithfully attended daily Mass. His devotion to prayer and worship was unwavering, and he lived each day as a joyful witness to God’s love.
Beyond his devotion to the Church, Henry found joy in life’s simple blessings. He loved fishing, camping, golfing, and cheering for the Lobos and Seahawks. Throughout his career in the medical field, Henry served others with compassion and integrity—from his early days with the Albuquerque Fire Department, to his years as a paramedic with Living Cross Ambulance in Bosque Farms, and later as Manager of Phlebotomy at TriCore Laboratories, where he worked for two decades before retiring in 2020.
Above all, Henry cherished his role as a grandfather and spiritual guide to his grandchildren: Joseph, Matthew, Tyler, Emily, Angelyssa, Sedona, Dylan, Aubrianna, Noah, Henry, Xander, Xenia, Orlando, Mason, Luella, and Faith. He was overjoyed to recently welcome his first great-grandchild, Isaiah, into his loving family.
Henry will be remembered for his radiant faith, joyful humor, booming singing voice, and the warmth he shared with every person he met—always greeting others with an “I love you” or “God bless you.” His presence was a reflection of God’s love, and his legacy will continue to inspire all whose lives he touched.
Services will be held on Saturday, January 24th, 2026, at San Martin de Porres Church, 8301 Camino San Martin SW, Albuquerque, NM 87121. The Rosary will begin at 10:30 a.m., with Mass to follow.
