Jerry Frank Sanchez

Jerry was born 9/14/1955 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Eduardo & Melba Sanchez.
Jerry passed away suddenly in a tragic accident on 10/11/25.
Jerry worked in the Uranium Mines, Grants Corrections as a Correctional Officer & worked at Smiths & Milan Supermart as a meat cutter for many years, a job he enjoyed. He also served in the US Army. Jerry loved Jesus Christ, life & his family. Jerry will be missed by many. Jerry is survived by his daughter, Jessica Sanchez and husband, Sid Montoya, Jerry Sanchez Jr., and Gabriel Sanchez; grandchildren, Nathaniel Montoya, Matthew Montoya, Isaiah Sanchez, Kaila Sanchez, Selustriano Sanchez, Arianna Sanchez, and Christopher Sanchez; siblings, Rhonda Gutierrez, Victor Sanchez, Christopher Sanchez, Sandra Marez, and Darlene Garduno; several nieces, nephews, and extended family members. 

Preceded in death by Dad & Mom, Eduardo & Melba Sanchez, brothers, Rudy, Randy, Patrick Joseph, Johnny, Leroy, Mark & Sister Shirley. 

A Visitation 9:30am Funeral services are Monday, October 27, 2025. Rosary 10:00 a.m. and mass to follow at St. Teresa's Catholic Church. 213 Smith St, Grants, NM 87020. Burial to follow at Grant’s Memorial Cemetery, 500 West Roosevelt Ave., Grants NM at 12pm.
