JoAnn Yvonne Barela, age 70, a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on August 4, 2025. JoAnn is survived by her husband of fifty-one years, Ambrosio Barela; children, Ambrosio Barela Jr., Jessica Gonzales and husband, Freddy; grandchildren Vanessa, Juliana, Jaylen, and Jacoby; brothers, Larry Moya and Johnny Moya; several nieces, nephews, and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, Abenicio and Delia Moya. A Visitation will be held on Monday, August 18, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 10:30 a.m. and a Mass to follow at 11:00 a.m. all to be held at Holy Family Catholic Church located at 562 Atrisco Dr SW, Albuquerque, NM 87105. The burial to the Mass at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
