Joann Vigil

Joann (Dimas) Vigil, age 89, born in Madrid, New Mexico, and a resident of Veguita, New Mexico, passed away on January 29,2022. She is survived by her daughter, Shirley Pohl; stepsons, Jessie Vigil, Donald Vigil, Harry Vigil; sister, Diana Garcia; brother, Joseph Dimas, Steve Dimas and wife Rosemary; stepbrother, Jessie and wife Teresa; daughter in-law, MayLou Tapia; five grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Manuel Dimas, and Epimenia (Padilla) Dimas; husband, Donald Vigil; sons, George tapia and Larry Tapia; stepson, Felix Vigil; son in-law, Ray Pohl; brother in-law, Robert Garcia; grandson, Lawrence Tapia; along with Agnes and husband George Benavidez, Clara and husband Tivo Morales, Lucy and husband Leo Sandoval. A Rosary will be recited for Mrs. Vigil on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at 8:30am with a Mass to follow at 9:00am all to be held at Holy Family Catholic Church 562 Atrisco Dr SW, Albuquerque, NM 87105. A Burial to take place after Mass at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
