Joe Irenio Torres, age 81, born in Punta, New Mexico and a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on October 31, 2026. Joe is survived by his wife of fifty-nine years, Gloria Torres; children, Lorraine Torres-Sena and husband, Augustine, Annette Walton and husband, Paul, Renee Torres- Galaviz; grandchildren, Miranda Campa, Nicole Sena, Dominic Galaviz, Kirsten Galaviz, Chase Walton; great-grandchildren, Eleanor Campa, Donald Ward, Ellie Ward and Sophie Ward. Mr. Torres served his country proudly and was honorably discharged from the United States Army. Services for Joe will be held at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church 5415 Fortuna Rd. NW with interment to follow the services with Military honors at the Santa Fe National Cemetery 501 N. Guadlupe St. where Joe will be laid to rest.
